Stay connected with your alma mater and fellow alumni through easy, digital access to your ID card, events, news and more. We invite all VIU alumni to create or continue meaningful engagement with our growing community.

Download the VIU Alumni app to:
- view your membership card
- search for local and national discounts
- get alumni, athletic and campus news updates and events
- see exclusive in-app giveaways and promos
- shop for VIU gear
- give to the fund of your choice on campus
How to login
After downloading and installing the VIU Alumni app, click on the login tile:
- Allow notifications and location services. Why? This way you won't miss in-app exclusives and alumni events near you.
- Click "log in." Enter the name you used at school and your birth date.

Search for "VIU alumni" on your phone's app store (Google Play or Apple), then download the app. Log into the app using your name and birthday information.
Unfortunately, the VIU Alumni app is only available on these two operating systems.
The VIU Alumni app is designed to work with the following operating system versions:
- Android 4.0.3 and up
- iOS 8.0 and up
Older versions of those operating systems may work, but it is not guaranteed and there is no support for them.
Physical alumni cards are available for those who cannot use the VIU Alumni app.
Anyone can download the VIU Alumni app and explore its features. However, full access to alumni benefits is reserved for VIU graduates who have completed a credential.
The VIU Alumni app replaces the need for a physical alumni card and gives you access to all alumni benefits in one place.
If you previously used the Perks app, please note that it is no longer supported and will not function. Be sure to download our new app to stay connected and access all services.
Simply download the VIU Alumni app again from your respective provider's online store (Google Play or Apple). Use your name and birthdate to log in and your access will be restored.
