The Alumni Ambassador program engages graduates around the world, providing opportunities for you to participate with VIU, your fellow alumni, and your community. Opportunities to Connect
VIU offers many opportunities for Alumni Ambassadors to get connected and involved with their alma mater.
Ask an Alum
Volunteer to be an online resource for students and prospective students to ask questions that relate to their field of study, preparation for entering the workplace, and becoming alumni themselves.
Time Commitment: One hour a month depending on your interest, availability, and student involvement.
Guest Speaker
Are you interested in being a guest speaker for a course or event? We work with the faculties to match alumni to guest speaker needs for current courses being offered. VIU also holds numerous events where alumni can join a discussion panel. If you are interested, please select the guest speaker option on the ambassador application form.
Time Commitment: One to Two hours depending on class, event, and availability.
